If there is a question that has not been answered in the FAQ please feel free to email. I typically get in contact with people as soon as I get an order in, I like to communicate things with customers, I hate being left in the dark so if I can, I will totally talk to you!

What is a Strix/Strixes?

Scientifically this is an owl that lacks of visible ears. Think of a barn owl if you will.

Mythologically it is described as a large- headed bird with transfixed eyes, rapacious beak, greyish white wings, hooked claws, and is the vampire owl of nightmares. 

What type of Strix do you use?

A Great Grey Owl, Strix nebulosa. Also known as the phantom of the forest.

Her name refers to a Hindu Devi named Dhumavati/धूमावती.

Commission pieces?

If you decide to commission me please email [email protected] with what you would like. 

I do album art/layout, kutte's, resin pieces, stencils, art prints, and more. I might be able to do something you would like. 

Please be ready to pay upfront once I accept the commission. I will request you use paypal, I will contact you about this. PLEASE READ THE COMMISSION SECTION FOR FURTHER EXPLAINATION.

Can you make anything other than band-related stuff?

Absolutely. I'd perfer to work with that. 

What are your mailing days?
Monday ~ Thursday. I rarely send mail out on Friday and Saturday. 

Do you ship internationally?

Totally can do. Shipping times will vary of course.  I am not responsible for custom fees and taxes. That's on you. Please know how your country works with outside orders. I'm not responsible for any late deliveries. 

Can I return something?

Unfortunately, no. The store is designed to bring you exactly what you want before any item is even prepped for shipping, especially when it comes to custom-made pieces. There are no returns, but if there's any difficulties in your order reaching you please reach out. I am not accountable for the speed of mail. I do check in on my orders and their status frequently until it's marked as delivered. If there are issues with it being lost I can do my best and suggest to work with you on getting it. I'm not accountable for your neighbor taking your mail either, best I can do is give you a discount if you want to buy it again. 

All sales are final. If there is an issue DO CONTACT ME, we can work something out. 

What's Saint Strix and the card store?

Saint Strix is being phased out, it held a purpose and I've just taken the name as a nick name for myself(artist). The card store is a separate site that manufactures tarot/playing cards. 

What about bones?

Every bone I put up for sale has been ethcially sourced. I cannot send bones internationally and would never sell anything that is now cow/deer/goat*/elk related for the sake of legality. Please check your local regulations before buying anything. If there are feathers involved they typically phesant, chicken/rooster, or turkey in nature. Again check with your regulations before buying from me, it helps you and me as an artist if you do.

Resin Pieces?

If your tray has indentations on it, please message me. These are trinket trays, not coasters. These are meant for light objects such as keys, rings, wireless headphone holders, brushes, pens, those sort of things. Nail polish, cups, knives, so on, won't last. If there is an indentation please contact me and I can try to resolve the issue with you. 
If you're messaging me about different colors, then refere to emailing me, which I might have already tried to contact you.
I use a curing machine which cuts down time. I can send resin pieces out at a faster rate and at a lower cost now. 

PAYMENT
I only accept Paypal, even for commission work.

Shipping
I use recycled boxes and materials to send orders out. If you're wondering why the cost of a sticker is so much, know I add extras to each order! Just a fun bonus.
I cannot stress this enough but I am not accountable for anything that happens to the package once it's left my possession. I can help you with figuring out a solution, but I cannot do much.
As for international, I have an updated section(click that) in regards to import taxes and raising the shipping costs.
I cannot make profit if the cost of shipping an item is more than the item itself.
I AGAIN am not accountable for customs fees and or taxes, that is on you and how you wish to take care of this. I do not want to cut anyone out of getting nice things, but I cannot help the price of things. Please know you will be purchasing upon your own accord if you are from outside of the United States. I have always remained reasonable and I try to maintain this.
